On the weekend 17th-18th October 2020, Ivan was finally back to filming after the pandemic lockdown had put his role offers on ice earlier this year. And not only that: Ivan is back to his preferred genre comedy again!
Written by Craig Tuohy and directed by Brendan Cleaves, the short film The Dead Collectors is set during a pandemic in an alternate reality. Two men have the job of collecting the deceased.
Ivan’s character Peter is one of them, his less experienced colleague Simon is played by Elliot James Langridge, known for the BAFTA-nominated 2014 feature film Northern Soul.
Filmed in Hertfordshire under Covid-19 regulations, the British production also features Jennifer Martin and teenage actor Connie Jenkins-Greig and child actor Hector Jenkins-Greig and we hear that the release might not be too far away.
