Following the failure of a relationship high-flying solicitor Jane Kennedy returns to the small Devon coastal town of Lighthaven, that she left when she was a teenager. She takes up the position of coroner investigating sudden, violent and suspicious deaths. Jane moves back, with her teenage daughter Beth to live with her mother. In her new role Jane must work alongside Davey Higgins, the boy who once broke her heart, who is now the local Detective Sergeant.

DVDs are available in the UK, the US, Germany (with German dubbing) and other European countries. There is no bonus material on the DVDs available in Germany and we have not heard about any on other DVD releases so far. If you have different information, please let us know!

DVDs of both seasons were released in Germany after TV broadcast in May 2017. The series has been broadcast on TV in the US and Canada in summer 2018. DVDs of the 2nd season were released in the US in summer 2018.

TV broadcast has also reached Australia in late 2017 and East Asia.

Blu-rays are not available as of September 2018 despite the fact that this series has been shot in 4K.

Yet high-resolution streaming of both seasons is available on Amazon Video in Germany and is reputedly included in Amazon Prime Video in the US. For other country options please check your regional Amazon page.

There are frequent re-runs of the series in the UK on different channels, the last re-run starting in August 2018 on Drama Channel. In Germany there have been two re-runs on ZDFneo and at least one more re-run in original sound on Pay-TV.

As the series has been released quickly to our knowledge both seasons have been shot in their respective release years in spring or early summer (before summer vacation time).
