Filmed in October 2020 under pandemic conditions, Ivan Kaye’s upcoming dark comedy short film The Dead Collectors is set during a pandemic in an alternate universe. Its protagonists are Peter (Ivan Kaye) and Simon (Elliot James Langridge) whose job it is to collect the deceased.

ADR was done in December 2020 (in the same week as for Ivan’s upcoming action thriller Gunpowder Milkshake). In the same week, we did a session for an elaborate upcoming Vikings interview and also addressed the short film, especially the unusual filming conditions.

Meanwhile, we received several behind-the-scenes photos from the ADR session as well:

Paddington Works Production, the studio that provided the ADR facilities, also announced in April that a private screening might happen at their place.

Aside behind-the-scenes photos, the session has also been used for a portrait photoshoot with the actors and the director. Here is a selection of the best photos we have seen so far:

By the end of March the director Brendan Cleaves also dropped a trailer featuring the two stars in a glimpse at the end while also introducing the characters Beverly (Jennifer Martin) and her film children Jane (Connie Jenkins-Greig) and Freddie (Hector Jenkins-Greig):
